A scientist wannabe.
I love to learn how things work, mostly about something scientific. Starting from the respiratory and circulatory systems to the circulation of the planets and galaxies.
I have loved coding since junior high school, and I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 2004. Solving problems and automating things are in my DNA.
Self-discovery
I started writing to understand myself better, understand how things work, and how I can conquer the mind using the framework that works best for me. If you are reading the notes, you’ll understand me better, and hopefully, it can inspire you to know how things work too!
Observe! observe! observe!
I like to observe the mind and how it works, including the factors affecting it, and think about how it should work. Simply put, if you observe the mind when you are angry, you will no longer be in the angry state. Sometimes I meditate for a few minutes just to observe the breath and the mind and be alert when the mind starts to wander, neglecting the breath. A pure noob at this.
This is the best way to leverage the human brain to its fullest potential. At least, this is how I get started. Read more on this in the notes.
Friends and bosses
I have many good friends, or at least that’s what I think ?. I like traveling or hanging out with them; it’s been a while since the pandemic started, I have not done any of those, or maybe too little. The bucket list is full, but minimum of execution.
I am also grateful that I have always had great bosses at every job. Each of them has helped me to be where I am now. Boss, if you read this, yes, this is for you.
Keep learning
I finished my Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management in 2021. And I still want to continue my study, especially in cosmology and quantum physics. These two areas fascinate me. I hope there is a way.
I love to share knowledge with others. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to deliver programming subjects in college back in 2001, and now in my current company I also deliver some subjects such as ChatGPT, Looker Studio and Excel. Knowledge sharing will only make us understand the topics better.
My little family
I enjoy studying together with my son, and I should keep learning to teach him more lessons. Spending time together with my little family is the thing I treasure the most. I am very grateful to have them around. I didn’t expect to be this happy. A loving wife and an adorable son, what more could I ask for?
Thanks for reading; see you in the notes.
