Hard choices.

How we live today, is the product of the choices we made. If we made different choices, we may live differently today, it could be better, worse, or even just slightly different. There are no right or wrong choices, it just giving different results with their own consequences.

Often, we, as humans choose the easiest or the most comfortable option. Whereas actually the opposite (usually) gives us better results. Here are some common examples (may not be accurate for everyone):

  1. Choose to eat more vegetables rather than meat
  2. Choose to exercise rather than sleeping
  3. Choose to converse rather than scrolling in social media or playing games
  4. Choose to forgive rather than angry
  5. Choose to drink plain water over sugar

The above are just the uncomfortable choices to choose. Hard choices usually more complex and comes with great consequences and perhaps need sacrifices.

While it’s sometimes okay to choose the more comfortable option, we must put more awareness when we do so, and retreat to the more uncomfortable ones. Hard choices require effort and understanding (on why it is better) to make them work.

Be tolerant of others and strict with yourself.
