Everyone has their own definition of success, influenced by the society that one must succeed (in everything they do). For some, it is a financial freedom, another people say that if what you’re doing can give positive impact to a large group of people. And, some other people or books say that happiness is the highest level of success. Whatever the definitions are, success definitely can bring happiness to the achiever.
On this note, I would like to share the simple formula to success, I hope it can open your eyes and help you back on track to achieve your definition of success.
Imagine if your success is going from point A to point B. To get to B, you need to focus, and have the intention to reach B. If in the middle someone calls you and you stop, or someone ask you to turn left or right, the path to your success will (likely) take longer time or longer steps or even you will never reach B. You must define the urgency and importance to reach B, if this is your ultimate goal, do not let anyone interfere with your goal, you need to be very stubborn and focus on your goal.
The infinite methods are how you’re going to reach point B, be it by walking, running, jumping, walking backward, walking with your hands, etc. The methods are infinite. If one method is not working, you should try another methods until your success is achieved. Copying others is okay, but it should suit your principles and you are comfortable doing it. It would be best if you can define your own method to reach B, don’t be shy or be different as everybody is unique.
If in the middle of the process you feel stuck, lose hope, return your focus to your goal, the path will reveal itself. The key here is the focus and intention, you need to give your 100% to reach B.
Beyond success
Once you reach point B, the question is, what next? One should be aware of this state and define the next level of success. Do not get carried away with success, as nothing is permanent. Keep moving forward and get some rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Good luck.
